This distinction is the equivalent of graduating magna cum laude from a university in the United States. Essentially it means I kept grades that were consistently among the top ten percent of my peers graduating in all disciplines the same year with Masters and Doctorate degrees.

Certified in Level 1 Partnership Brokers Training through Partnership Brokers
The Partnership Brokers Association is the international professional body for those managing and developing collaboration processes. Their primary aims are to challenge and change poor partnering practices so that multi-stakeholder collaboration can become truly transformational; ensure those operating in partnership brokering roles are skilled, principled and work to the highest standards; and promote the critical importance of partnering process management to decision-makers in all sectors. The three days of training took place in St. John's, NL, at The Ramada Inn.

Through a short narrative film on my experiences as an autodidact polymath and interactive presentation, “We Are All Leaders,” I explore the socially and economically advantageous position of the University Student, and encourage incoming students to become socially active and use critical thinking, diversity and leadership to empower themselves and their communities.

Yellow Belt in Lean Manufacturing attained
The Yellow Belt program is the essential training module for future Lean Champions. It provides a comprehensive overview of Lean principles and provides a basic proficiency in their use and application so as to help decrease costs, optimize process flow, and increase efficiency. I was trained by the Vice President of Lean Atlantic, Vice President of CME NL, the brilliant Lean guru David Haire.

Awarded the 2010 Council of the Federation Literacy Medallion
This is in recognition of outstanding achievement in literacy in Newfoundland and Labrador. This award is given to one citizen of each province, presented by the Premier of that province. Thank you for the recognition.
