The volunteer board and I incorporate the community's resilient youth's new non-profit "For the Love of Learning."
"For the Love of Learning Incorporated" is a young non-profit in St. John's, Newfoundland run by trained professionals, volunteers and youth who are driven to encourage and support the futures of youth in our community. It consists of a series of free workshops designed to build on the skill sets and ambitions of our resilient youth population--youth-at-risk who have managed to overcome great risk and adversity and are successfully engaging in leading healthy, productive lives in our communities.
An arts and education-based young entrepreneur program, For the Love of Learning arose out of a recognized need to address the skills, education, employment and wellness of our city's youth population.
