Special Project Advisor: "Bars, Booze and Sexual Violence: Moving Masculinities."
A project of the St. John's Status of Women, this project explored the pairing of alcohol and sexual violence in Newfoundland & Labrador through focus groups with local adult males. The audio for my CBC radio mini docs on "Above the Knee, Drink for Free" and news stories on local wet tee shirt contests, as well as the transcript of my article for the Memorial University Faculty Newspaper, The Gazette, called "This Bud's For You: Beer & Sexy Babes" were all used and discussed as focal points for discussion, and credited in the project's Final Report.
