  • Guided by CME NL's VP, responsible for laying out the design of the course curriculum for a $2M pan-provincial Lean Manufacturing training initiative called "Manufacturing Productivity." Currently engaging the shop floor employees of more than forty companies province-wide, my responsibilities include continuous consultation with subject matter experts (six Lean Consultants and CME NL VP) to build and enhance copy outlining the programís syllabus of nearly twenty courses, ensuring all materials align with World Class Lean Manufacturing standards and CME national styleguide specifications; the creation, maintenance and execution of the program's evaluations and communications; all funding proposal as well as interim and final report writing; the ongoing monitoring of the project's networks to include the coordination of each (5) networks' events, timelines and activities; scheduling and setting up related training and events; continuous partnership building with project stakeholders; etc.

  • Manage the Newfoundland & Labrador and Nova Scotia regions' project activities for CertWORK+(National Occupational Standards)-- a work-based managerial certification assessment based on a PLAR model that responds to current and projected labour market needs. CertWORK+ accreditation is based on industry-determined standards for positions in manufacturing organizations. Activities leading to the successful role out of this pilot involved assisting in conceiving and creating the CertWORK+ assessment criteria, as well as the design and build of national standards with provincial industry counterparts; the ongoing consultation and engagement of stakeholder groups and subject matter experts through education outreach; the ongoing design of nearly all pan national communications material; the monitoring of my assigned region's scope and project time allocations; the proficient use of a range of media including social, print and electronic; the building and maintenance of strong relationships with manufacturers, colleagues, media, government departments and other committed stakeholders; the recruitment, training, coordination, and tracking of CertWORK+ assessors, mentors and candidates; and the routine delivery of monthly progress reports.
